Service & Warranty Policy

1. Service Charges & Advance Payment

•   Minimum Service/Visit Charge: ₹999/- (mandatory).
•   Advance Payment: ₹999/- must be made in advance before any repair job.
•   Pickup & Drop Charges: Chargeable as per Porter, Rapido, or any courier platform rates.

2. Warranty Coverage (3 Months)

The warranty applies only to screen replacement/repair services.

•   Coverage includes:
  • Touch automatically working issues.
  • Touch not working (if fault is due to replaced screen).
•   Hardware Warranty Exclusion: Internal hardware components (motherboard, CPU, GPU, camera modules, charging ICs, sensors, connectors, etc.) are NOT covered.

3. Warranty NOT Covered

•   Accidental damage: drops, impacts, scratches, cracks, burns, bending.
•   Liquid / water damage.
•   Extreme environmental exposure.
•   Third-party tampering or unauthorized repairs.
•   Self-repair attempts.
•   Software issues (OS corruption, rooting, malware, etc.).
•   Battery misuse (overcharging, non-OEM chargers, swelling).
•   Minor display defects (dead pixels <3, minor scratches).
•   External accessories issues.
•   Subsequent accidental damage after repair.
•   Misuse / negligence.
•   Device modification.
•   Faulty part return violation.
•   Cosmetic damage.
•   Internal hardware damage from previous repairs.
•   Transit damage due to improper packing.
•   Neglecting post-repair care instructions.
•   Unauthorized software updates.
•   Jailbroken / rooted devices post-repair.
•   Force majeure (fire, flood, earthquake, strikes, power surges).
•   Damage from third-party accessories.
•   Multiple repairs misuse.
•   Customer data issues.
•   Battery life decline.
•   Screen glue/adhesive imperfections.
•   Minor pixel discoloration or ghosting.
•   Unauthorized firmware installation.

4. Customer Conduct Policy

•   Polite communication mandatory.
•   Warranty misuse terminates warranty.
•   Timely device/parts submission.
•   No interference with technicians.
•   No unauthorized requests or favors.
•   Full disclosure of prior issues.
•   Payment discipline enforced.
•   Respect technicians; harassment leads to permanent ban.
•   Collect devices within 7 days.
•   Fraudulent activities lead to legal action.

5. Post-Repair Device Handling Instructions

•   Avoid pressing, bending, dropping.
•   Use tempered glass or protective covers.
•   Warranty void if damaged due to improper handling.

6. Device Pickup / Storage Policy

•   Collect within 15 days.
•   Storage charges ₹50/day after 15 days.
•   Devices unclaimed 45 days may be disposed.

7. Spare Parts & Repair Time Disclaimer

•   Parts subject to availability.
•   Compatible parts used if OEM unavailable.
•   Repair time estimated; delays may occur.

8. Partial Service / Declined Repair

•   Advance ₹999 non-refundable if repair declined.
•   No warranty claim for diagnosed but un-repaired issues.

9. Warranty Claim Process

•   Claims via https://mending.in/warranty-claim
•   Verified strictly against policy.
•   Submit claims within 90 days.

10. No Refund Policy

Strict NO REFUND policy applies.

11. Legal Process & Liabilities

•   Jurisdiction: Mumbai Courts only.
•   Fraudulent claims treated under IPC.
•   Non-payment: legal recovery under Contract Act.
•   Abusive conduct: police complaint under IPC 506.
•   Data privacy: customers must backup.
•   No liability for indirect losses or third-party interference.
•   Agreement: availing services implies acceptance of all terms.
